Chapter 1
Mocha lay in the garden one sunny day. Razor, Tiger and Snowfield were with her. They all talked and laughed about the most random things. Then, Tiger mentioned Mocha’s trip to Mars a few days ago. “You never told us about this, Mocha,” said Snowfield in surprise. “Do tell!”
So, Mocha told of her adventure. If you have read ‘The Adventures of Mocha Season 3’, then you probably know what it is about. Just to give you a quick overview, Mocha went to Mars and met aliens, who live underground in beautiful homes.

“That sounds fun!” exclaimed Razor. “I wish I was there!”
“Me too!” said Snowfield. “Why don’t we go there today?”
The others thought this sounded like a great idea, but Mocha was silent.
“I wish we could go there,” sighed Mocha. “But the rocket needs repairing, so we can’t go.”
The cats lay back on the grass thoughtfully. “I want to stretch my legs,” announced Tiger, getting up. “Anyone coming?”
“You bet!” The others got up too and chased one another around the garden, happy and cheerful.
Chapter 2
The next day, Mocha decided to pay a visit to Tiger. Tiger was snoozing in the yard and woke up with a jump when Mocha yowled at him. “Don’t,” he said, slightly grumpy. He yawned and stretched pretty normal things for a cat to do.
Suddenly, his pupils dilated. Much to Mocha’s surprise, he tore around the yard at top speed like a mad thing. Round and round he went, only visible to the watching cat as an orange blur. Thankfully, just as she was starting to get dizzy, he skidded to a halt, panting.
Mocha stared. “Why did you do that?” she asked, puzzled. Tiger laughed. “That’s what I do when I wake up after a snooze in the sun,” he replied. “It’s fun!”

Mocha laughed, too. They talked for a while and decided to go to the garden of another house, picking up their friends along the way. At that moment, Ava came out of the house. She saw the cats and shouted, “Luke! Will! Mocha is here!”
Her brothers came running down the stairs. They immediately saw Mocha and the other cats. They gasped at the sight of so many cats, four in total. The cats were just lazing around and sleeping. Mocha was on the wall, Tiger was sleeping by the post box, and Snowfield and Razor were snoozing in the middle of the floor!
The cats were very happy… until a deafening BANG! rocked the world.
Chapter 3
Simultaneously, the cats scrammed and hid under whatever shelter they could find. They exchanged frightened glances. What on earth was happening? A blinding light illuminating the sky caught their attention. “What is it?” asked Snowfield, terrified beyond her wits.
“It looks like-?” Tiger began.
“A flying saucer!” shouted Razor, his voice trembling with excitement now.
Mocha froze. “What is it, Mocha?” asked Snowfield, seeing the amazement on her friend’s face.
“That looks like Mayso’s and Marso’s flying saucer!” exclaimed Mocha.
“Yes, it does, doesn’t it?” replied Tiger, drily, who noticed the resemblance almost immediately.
Ava and the twins also saw the flying saucer. It did not scare them much though, for it was a thrilling sight. I mean, it’s not every day you get to see a flying saucer appear above your porch!

Slowly, the machine hovered towards the ground and landed. Tiger and Mocha gasped, for inside the saucer were none other than Marso and Mayso! Mocha flung herself on them, clearly delighted to see her friends again. The aliens hugged her back, joy shining on their faces. Tiger walked over and grinned, but Razor and Snowfield looked on quizzically, as they’d never met such strange creatures before.
“Snowfield, Razor, meet Marso and Mayso,” said Mocha, happily. “Marso and Mayso, meet Snowfield and Razor, two of my best friends. You have already met Tiger, of course.” Mayso and Marso smiled at them warmly. They had four antennas each and three eyes with weirdly-shaped bodies. Overcoming their initial suspicion, curiosity set in. Mocha could see that her friends were dying to know all about the aliens.
While Mocha was introducing both parties, Ava and her brothers had already come out of the house and were watching in astonishment. Who were these weird alien beings? Why were they here? And how in the world did Mocha know them?
The aliens suddenly caught sight of the children. They stared at them in terror. “Who are these funny shaped creatures?” whispered Marso to Mocha. Ava looked at Marso, dumbfounded. These guys knew how to speak English?
Mocha laughed. “These are not funny shaped creatures. They are humans! Their names are Ava, Luke and Will! There are very nice children!”
Ava and the twins looked even more surprised when they heard Mocha speak English, too! What was going to happen now? Well, at least Mocha introduced them to these aliens!
Chapter 4
Ava finally approached them, but slowly. Her brothers followed hesitantly. They weren’t sure who these aliens were, but they were not going to be scared!
Mocha saw them coming and pulled the children towards the aliens. Ava and Will were thrilled at the sight of so many cats and weird aliens, but Luke was wary of them.
“Hi, we’re the Mesomotatic tribe from Mars,” said Mayso, smiling at the children. “And you?”
”W-we are from Earth,” stammered Ava. “Nice to meet you!” She bent down to pet the cats and talk to the aliens. The twins did the same, but Luke didn’t pet the cats. Instead, he chatted to the aliens, asking about Mars, and if they saw the Mars rover, and so on.
All the children looked at the flying saucer in awe, and touched its smooth surface.

“Can we go up in your flying saucer?” pleaded Ava.
“Of course!” replied Mayso. “All aboard everyone!”
Chapter 5
Everyone crowded into the saucer, and Marso pressed a bright red button. Whoosh! The flying saucer suddenly took off from the ground. “My tummy!” yowled Razor, turning slightly green.
“Let’s do a loop-the-loop!” suggested Mocha.
“Nooooooo!” said Razor.
“Yes!” shouted everyone else.
“Hold on to your hats!” Mayso turned the steering wheel and the flying saucer did a tight spin. Razor turned even more green. “This. Is. GREAT!” yelled the twins.
Finally, the flying saucer landed back on the ground. Everyone hopped out. “Thank you for the ride!” said Snowfield. “I really enjoyed it!”

“Thanks Marso and Mayso!” chorused everyone.
“No problem!” replied Marso and Mayso, smiling at them. “We have to go now. We aliens are having a party on Mars!”
“Oh,” said Tiger in dismay. “Can’t you stay a bit longer?”
“Sorry, but we can’t,” said Marso. “Would you like to come with us, though?”
“Of course!” said Ava. “But please wait a minute, Marso, we need to ask our parents.” Ava ran into the house and got permission from her parents, who took one look at the saucer and nearly fainted from disbelief. They all got into the flying saucer once again. “What’s that?” exclaimed Luke, suddenly. They looked at the place where Luke was pointing and saw something like a portal.
“That’s a portal to teleport to Mars!” said Mayso, excitedly. “It is very rare to find. What luck!”
Mayso steered the saucer towards the portal and in a trice they were looking at Mars. The children and the cats looked at it solemnly. They have only seen Mars on TV, not in real life. What an opportunity for them!
Mocha looked at Mars with shining eyes. She had already been there once, and was looking forward to seeing all of her alien friends again.
“Here we go!” said Marso, and zoomed towards Mars at lightning speed.
Chapter 6
They landed on Mars with a cloud of dust rising from the ground. Ava looked out of the window and saw many aliens like Marso and Mayso themselves. “Who are they?” asked Ava, pointing.
“They are our friends and relatives,” replied Mayso. They all jumped out of the flying saucer. The aliens greeted them and look at the children curiously, for they have never seen their kind before. Marso saw their looks and explained to them that they were children and great friends of theirs.
The aliens smiled in a friendly way to the children and the others. They were thrilled to see them, but even more thrilled to see Mocha, for she has been to Mars before and was swarming among them, happy and at home.

“Where are the houses?” wondered Razor. “I don’t see any.”
“I think they are underground,” said Snowfield. “Remember Mocha told us that the aliens’ home were all under the ground?”
“Oh yes, I remember now!” replied Razor.
The aliens were gathered in the circle in the middle. They motioned the others to stand with them. One alien pressed the empty air with one finger. Suddenly, they shot downwards. The children were so shocked that they couldn’t say a word.
Under the ground, it was pitch black except for some blinking lights. “What are those lights?” asked Will, puzzled.
“They are firelights,” replied Mocha, gazing at them fondly. They glow in the dark, but are very shy.”
Down, down they went, rushing past lovely house fixed to the walls. The children and the cats stared at them. They have never seen them before, apart from Mocha.
Then, they came down with a bump. The lights were switched on and the children blinked in its brightness. They couldn’t believe what they saw.
Chapter 7
Around them were more blinking lights and houses fixed to the walls. Inside the houses they saw hundreds of aliens wandering around inside, looking very happy. Some of them peered out of the windows and stared at the children, but others were just shopping for some food, clothes, and many other things that can be found on Earth. The only difference was, of course, that these were aliens!

“Come on, everyone! Let’s get this party started!” cried out one of the aliens suddenly. The lights were turned off, and a gigantic disco ball hung from the ceiling, shining and spinning for all it was worth. Some music that came from nowhere played a lively tune and everyone started to dance. What fun they had!
After the dancing, everyone feasted on the most delicious food you have ever tasted! None of these marvelous foods can be found anywhere but Mars. Soup of Mars, space delight, runkleberry flavoured ice-cream, and many others. Everyone was very happy.
Chapter 8
A few hours later, it was time to go home. The aliens were sad that the children and the cats were leaving, but they promised to come back. The children and the cats waved goodbye, and they all got into the spaceship with Marso and Mayso.
Off they flew, down to Earth. They looked back at Mars solemnly. How they were going to miss it. But, never mind. They could always come back next time.
