Chapter 1
Mocha was walking through the streets of Jalan Putra, deep in thought. She was still trembling from the shock she had. If you had read ‘The Adventures of Mocha Season 1’, you would remember the part where Mocha “broke” into Ava’s house and ran out of the house before you could say “cat’s whiskers”. Luckily, Mocha managed to escape and was deep in thought as she trekked home.

Chapter 2
A few days later, Mocha decided to revisit Ava’s house (the porch this time, not the inside!). Everyone was very happy to see her again despite the shock they had, and resumed their old fondness of her.
As Mocha was passing through the gate, another cat followed her. It looked like Mocha, but it had darker colours. Ava was looking out of the window and saw them. “Wait a minute, wasn’t that the cat that was with Mocha before?” she asked, referring to an incident where she spotted that very same cat some time ago. “I think it’s the same one.”
“Maybe,” said her father. Ava’s mother and brothers were at badminton training. Ava didn’t go that day, so she stayed at home with her father. As the idea of not taking a few pictures and videos of Mocha and the unknown cat was unthinkable, she naturally did just that. However, Mocha didn’t seem to like the other cat and ran a little distance away from it. Here is a picture:

Chapter 3
The next day in the evening, Luke and Will were playing badminton in front of the house. As they were playing, they suddenly saw two cats on the field. One of them looked like Mocha, and the other was pure black. The twins called to Ava, who was watching TV in the house.
“Ava! Mocha and another cat are on the field!” they shouted in unison.
“Ok!” Ava called back. “I’ll take a picture!” She rushed out of the house, phone in hand, and began snapping photos. “So cute!” she exclaimed in delight. Before she re-entered her house, Ava glanced around one last time, and all of a sudden saw Mocha walking to her mother’s small garden.
“Twins, look!” she said. “There’s Mocha!” Of course, she absolutely had to take pictures of a cute cat like Mocha. Here are some of them:

After putting down her phone, however, Ava noticed something strange. There were still two cats on the field, but Mocha was at her feet. Then how could Mocha possibly be over there when she was right here?
Realisation dawned on Ava. “A new cat!” she cried excitedly, and hurried into the house to tell her parents the great news.
Chapter 4
The next morning, the children decided to make a cat timetable. They put the cat’s names into the timetable and counted how often they visited. The cat’s names were Mocha, Razor (the unknown cat in Chapter 2), Tiger (a ginger coloured cat that is quite old, also fluffy and belonged to their neighbours), Snowfield (a cat which is black and white in colour; something of a mystery, too), Sooty (the black cat on the field), and finally Glotchia (the Mocha lookalike).
Here is an example of what the cat timetable looked like:

Chapter 5
From then on, Mocha came with one or two of her friends every day and play about together. She seemed to get along with them just fine, especially since Razor was absent for some time. Ava and her brothers always managed to find time to watch the cats playing. Mocha was extremely happy to have so many cat friends.
One day, Mocha and Razor came alone. Ava and the twins were at home alone. Razor was following Mocha, but Mocha didn’t like it. She ran away from Razor, but Razor just followed her all the same. At last, Mocha climbed up onto the aircon compressor, which lets out the hot air from the aircon. Undeterred, Razor climbed up onto the tire which was just next to the compressor.
Meanwhile, Ava and the twins were animatedly taking pictures and videos of the cats. They all held their breaths as they waited for Razor to jump up onto the compressor. And he did!
Unfortunately for Razor, Mocha scratched him and jumped down.

As Mocha was walking out of the front gate with her tail raised haughtily into the air, Razor quickly jumped down from the compressor and followed her once again.
To show the other who was boss, Mocha bared her teeth and turned her back to him. For some reason, this did not dismay Razor, as he followed Mocha anyway. ‘What a brave cat!’ Ava thought, shocked at his perseverance.
Mocha, realising his obstinate nature, finally gave in and tolerated Razor as lay down under the car and away from the sunlight.
